Interesting: Found in the Amazon rainforest, rosewood (Aniba rosaeodora) are trees that can reach up to 30 meters in height, with trunks two meters in diameter. Also known as pau-rosa mulatinho, pau-rosa itaúba and pau-rosa imbaúba, this specimen produces an oil that is used as an essence in the formula of several perfumes in Europe and the United States, mainly in the manufacture of perfume Chanel Nº5, used by Marilyn Monroe.
