manufacture of cast and molded candles: The rapeseed wax + coconut mixture is a material of choice for making molded candles, as this wax is wonderful at avoiding cracks.

The wax has a melting point of around 40ºC and is firm to the touch.  The maximum scent load varies between 8% and 10% depending on the oil. The wax can be heated to and poured at 40ºC-70 ºC into ambient glassware (20-30ºC ideally). Depending on the fragrance and conditions, a surface re-melt may be required to get smooth.

We recommend pouring this wax quite cool, anywhere from 38ºC upwards.
